Unique Logos: Green Theme

var cwfl = “http://www.paradox9.com.com/cwfl.htm”;
When looking for inspiration or a full logo don’t discount stock websites.  There are many very talented designers who use them and you may be able to find a perfect logo for your business.  Below is a gallery of a very small sampling from the very talented individuals at Stock Logo. `
It is just a very small sampling, all using the simple theme ‘Green’ just to give you an idea of the many amazing logos that can be found there.
Do you have a favorite? Admittedly, I’m personally partial to the bike to the left.

Stunning Space Images

var cwfl = “http://www.paradox9.com.com/cwfl.htm”;
Space has long been the subject of intense fascination by humans.  With modern technology we are better able to see thing that once were thought to be just the subject of fantasy.  Incredible images have been captured and have fueled more fascination for our cosmic home.
We are learning more and more about the universe, and while at times things we learn serve mainly to give us more questions than answers, the images we have are beautiful and truly serve to show that beauty is truly universal.

InfoGraphics: Examples To Get You Inspired

var cwfl = “http://www.paradox9.com.com/cwfl.htm”;

At times designers have to cram a ton of statistics into a considerably small space, the information needs to convey it’s importance, and still be visually appealing at the same time, all together it’s not a small order.
There is an entire group that are half statisticians and half artists who are able to convey an absolutely incredible amount of information in a very stylish way.
While you may not need to show quite as many stats as the examples below, they prove to show that you can still be informative and beautiful.

BP: The Comedy Of Errors In Photos

var cwfl = “http://www.paradox9.com.com/cwfl.htm”;

BP’s comedy of errors in fixing the leak is having a lasting effect on the environment and economy.  With their many flawed attempts at fixing the leak, they may be doing more harm than good.  The wildlife and sea creatures in the areas effected are dying and creating an alarming and lasting environmental tragedy in the area, while the ocean environment itself is being irreparably damaged by both the leak itself and some of the more questionable leak control methods.
The devastation and tragedy are completely overwhelming.  The lasting effects are horrible, and there is seemingly no end in sight.  For such a large, multi-billion dollar company, it’s a PR nightmare.  For the rest of us, a environmental terror.   It’s an unfortunate fact of modern …

Are You Liking The New Facebook?

var cwfl = “http://www.paradox9.com.com/cwfl.htm”;

Right off the bat, there needs to be some apologies for that punny title, so consider this that apology.
Facebook has a new position that is giving it even more control of the web.  While the OpenGraph is still being adopted and heavily debated over, considering the amount of people using it already, it looks poised to take over Google’s link positioning.  Google’s algorithm depends on websites linking through to each other, while Facebook’s OpenGraph is more user-oriented.

Friendgiftr is a new company with its roots directly traced to social media and social networking, the  inspiration behind it came from the virtual gifting applications in websites like Facebook (where you can use real world money to give friends little images of various things).
It is interesting to see what companies come up with to integrate real world things into the virtual networks and while there may be some vaguely similar things out there, it’s Friendgiftr’s full integration of real world and virtual interaction that makes it stand out.  I recently had the chance to ask Friendgiftr’s CEO Rob Carpenter a few questions (found …

Places For Selling Your Art

var cwfl = “http://www.paradox9.com.com/cwfl.htm”;

Are you thinking about selling your artwork?  Many website developers and designers need high quality artwork, and while there are some free places to get them, sometimes the ‘free’ part of the quality abounds in those, making the process harder.  That’s where you come in, many people are willing to purchase your artwork in order to help design websites, programs, clothing, and more.

Besides being a literary giant amongst us mere mortals, Earnest Hemingway’s advice is truly ageless and still holds as true today, as it did when Hemingway originally penned it.
I know now that there is no one thing that is true – it is all true.

His words still have relevancy, especially for the modern writing style (and life style).
Modern writers, or those who aspire to be modern writers could learn a lot from Hemingway.  One of his strong points, was his way of saying so much with so little.  When asked to tell a story in 6 words, those 6 short words managed to be …
