Art is in the eye of the beholder, and some artists take this to whole new extremes.  They are focusing on anything but the ‘norm.  Be they weird due to composition choices, or subject matter the terms is definitely not meant in a bad way by far.

The usual pieces are all done by incredibly talented people, and when it was available I’ve tried to link the their websites as well as to where the image came from.  There are a few I wasn’t able to find, so if you know the artists, please let me know which piece, and their website in the comments.  The websites linked (where the images came from) all have much more than I’ve posted below, so go on over to their websites and check out the sheer awesomeness.

Did you know there is apparently a movement of artists who’s chosen medium is feathers?  I sure as heck didn’t until I was researching this article.

2. Pinhead Sculpture

I know damn well my hands aren’t this steady.  There are a surprising amount of people creating little world on pinheads.  The one below was auctioned off for charity.

I will never cease to be astounded at how people are able to do these.
